COVID-19 Revised Working Practices: Virtual Coaching Service Now Available

What strange and frightening times we’re living through.  I wish you all the best and hope you and your families stay safe and well during this stressful period. 

 

During the COVID-19 outbreak I will not be able to visit my clients in their own homes and provide “hands-on” sessions.  I still really want to support you all with your decluttering and organisational needs so I’ve been taking part in online training with other APDO members and I’m pleased to now launch a video coaching service.  This way I will be able to motivate and advise my existing clients with ongoing tasks, and show new clients how to get started with your own projects, keep on track, and actually achieve and maintain your goals!  I can totally recommend decluttering and home organisation as a great activity to fill your time productively, reduce friction caused by chaotic spaces and lack of routines, and help you feel more in control and positive in general.

 

I am offering a free initial, no obligation, phone consultation to talk over your own requirements and situation so call me on 07800 523 954 for a chat and I’ll explain how we can work together.  If you then choose to go ahead with the video coaching, we can work out a bespoke schedule to suit your availability and budget and pick a platform of your choice to work on - Skype, Zoom, FaceTime etc.  The price for my virtual service will be £20 per hour.

Confidentiality and Privacy
I value your privacy and anything that I see in your home, and anything you tell me during our time together will be kept strictly confidential.  I abide by a professional code of ethics as set out by the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (APDO) and am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).


Disclaimer
I offer advice on decluttering and organising matters in good faith. Ultimately, it is your decision whether to follow any guidance given, especially regarding whether to keep items or to let them go. I take no responsibility for your decisions and actions or the consequences of these decisions or actions at the time or at any point in the future. I do not provide valuations and you are advised to seek professional advice on the value of items for selling or insurance purposes. I hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance of £1 million; a certificate can be supplied if requested.


Removal of Rubbish & Recycling
I do not hold a license for waste collection and will not be responsible for removing any items of waste or recycling from your home.  You must make your own arrangements to dispose of your own waste as you see fit;  I can give you a list of local licensed waste contractors to help you but you will need to deal with them directly. 

 

Cancellation Policy
I understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable.  If you do need to cancel, I kindly ask you to let me know as soon as possible so I can offer my time to other clients.  

 

Technical Glitches

Video platforms are not 100% stable so if technical issues crop up which are insurmountable, we might have to pause or reschedule as appropriate.  Rest assured, I will not charge you for any downtime.


Payment

Payment for coaching is requested in full at the end of each session - I will send you an iZettle payment link via text message so you can pay me by debit or credit card.  Late payments may be charged interest as laid out in The Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
